LIMITED 12 MONTH WARRANTY (CRAFTSMANSHIP)
When connected
to a residential structure, your Wood Crafters wood deck is warranted
to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12
months from the date of completion. This warranty is for the original
purchaser only and is not transferable. This warranty covers the workmanship
(such as poorly cut joints, sloppy fitting pieces, loose materials, and
materials not installed to specifications), and materials defects (such
as missing or loose knots, crooked lumber, excessive warp-age, and large
splits). This warranty does not cover checking of the Wood (a check is
a small surface crack that does not affect the structural ability of the
wood). Checks do not go all the way through a board. Some checking of
the lumber will occur and is unavoidable. Splits are larger cracks that
go all the way through a board and may affect its strength. All grade
stamps will be sanded down, and will fade to color of the board with some
time. This warranty does not cover damage caused by any external forces.
The original consumer purchaser shall be entitled to receive repair and/or
replacement (at our option) of the defective material(s) at no additional
charge within this warranty period. To make arrangements for this repair/replacement,
the original owner must present this warranty along with the original
purchase invoice to the address located above.
LIMITED
36 MONTH WARRANTY (STRUCTURAL)
When connected to a residential structure, your Wood
Crafters wood deck is warranted against sagging, shifting, or otherwise
settling due to materials failure or improper installation of materials
for a period of 36 months. This warranty is good from the date of completion
for a period of 36 months. This warranty is for the original purchaser
only and is not transferable. This warranty covers the structure of the
deck, from the surface of the ground up to but not including, the floor
decking. This warranty does not cover sagging, shifting, or settling caused
by any excessive loads (such as a hot-tub or pool) placed on the deck
that were not specifically designed into the deck. This warranty does
not cover cosmetic imperfections. This warranty does not cover damage
caused by any external forces (such as settling ground, foundation repair,
etc.), nor does it cover damage caused by forces of nature (such as earthquakes,
excessive wind, etc.). The original consumer purchaser shall be entitled
to receive repair and/or replacement (at our option) of the defective
material(s) at no additional charge within this warranty period. To make
arrangements for this repair/replacement, the original owner must present
this warranty along with the original purchase invoice to the address
located above.
Note:
Additional warranties may apply where alternative materials
are used in the construction of your deck. These will vary depending on
the product and the manufacturer.
